"Cosmic Cowboys" is a project born from the different styles of two young artists from Venice: Nicola Sansoni aka Randomatique and Kaled Jabari aka Kaledj. Influenced at first by artists as Ian Pooley, Dj Deep, Chicken Lips, Frankie Knucles and then by names as Ripperton, Trentemoller, Martin Buttrich and Royksopp they developed a style that couldn't be defined with other term than "cosmic", edging between deep-house, dub and melodic tech-house with their quintessential romantic touch, always able to create a special intensity in their music. Their first EP "Rent a Starship" was released in december 2008 on the prestigious german label Ostwind Records being reviewed also on the spanish Deejay Magazine as one of the best records of the year. From that moment on the rise of Nico and Kaled as two of the brightest new talents of the european deep-tech house scene seemed to have no break delivering music for well known international labels as Kollektiv Turmstrasse's Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Gorge's Katchuli, Time Has Changed, Trenton, Resopal, Plastic City or Dieb Audio and also on Traum Schallplatten with their famous remix for the swedish Minilogue appearing also on the Cocoon Compilation with their side project "Reisak Corporation". Together with these releases Kaled and Nico realized also many successful projects for their own imprint "Back And Forth" that started in January 2011 which features friends from all over the world and that will surely be an highlight in the european underground discography of the next years. Beside the production work also their fame as djs and live performers grew up thanks to their party "Origami" and to their incredible performances in Italy and in other countries as Germany, Russia, Spain, France, Greece, USA, Austria, United Kingdom and Switzerland thanks to their groovy attitude behind the turntables and their breathtaking harmonies while live performing.
