Dave Davis began his career in dance music back in the‘90s at the tender age of 18 after signing with the renownedBelgian label Bonzai Records. His first drop, Transfiguration,shifted 30,000 copies on vinyl alone plus compilations andCD sales. 20 singles followed over the next three yearsunder a variety of aliases, including Les Sabotages,Phrenetic System and Davis & Santini.Alongside the success of his recorded output Davis’scareer as an international DJ took off, playing trance andtechno in some of the world’s biggest clubs and parties,including Mayday, Love Parade, White sensasion, StreetParade & Energy, Cream, Mystery Land, Tomorrowland,Pacha (Ibiza), Anzu Club Brazil, Fuse, Mansion in Miami,Cherry Moon, Paris Gay Pride and Francofolies de Spa inhis homeland of Belgium and more…In 1997 he moved to London where he stayed for two yearswhere became involved in the UK electronic scene, includingfigures such as Colin Dale (KISS FM), Carl Cox, UltimateBass Records before making the decision to enter the DrumTech academy and work on his skills as a singer, whichresulted in his award winning collaborations with DavidGuetta (T he World Is Mine) across two albums, as well aswork with Sinema (Love Emulator Album) realise on sound ofBarclay, Chab (Closer to me) on Saw & Azulli rec UK ,Tocadisco, KIKO, Kolombo, and Junior Jack & Kid Creme,among others.As resident DJ at Cherry Moon in Gent, Belgium he’s playedalongside figures such as Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Moby, DaveClark, Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Green Velvet, and manymore.2013 already seems to signal a period of new growth andregeneration for Davis with a major new releases for UKlabel Skint Records (Fatboy Slim, Freq Nasty, X-Press 2,Sonny wharton and more): New Skin and Changed featuringSkye (Morcheeba) on vocals , and Davis has returned thefavour, contributing a remix of Skye’s own single Nowherefor PIAS Records UK.
